"It is not enough to be compassionate. You must act." -Dalai Lama

Our Vision

Since 2020, Purpose on Purpose (POP) has been dedicated to advocating for domestic violence survivors while vocalizing our vision of providing them with transitional housing. While we received positive feedback for our dedication to this cause, potential supporters lost interest when they realized that our transitional housing program was not yet a reality.

As of January 2023, we have pivoted our focus towards obtaining housing for our transitional housing program. We believe that safe and secure housing is critical in the healing process and the journey toward self-sufficiency and sustainability for survivors.

Our experiences and relationships over the past two years have provided valuable insight, allowing us to expand our overall housing program vision. While we continue our tireless work on acquiring housing, we have also incorporated hotel vouchers for victims of domestic and intimate partner violence into our mission. This will enable us to provide immediate support to survivors while we work towards our long-term housing goal.

“Never underestimate your ability to make someone else’s life better – even if you never know it.”
